Well, the verdict is in. I’ve been withholding judgment on the current Pope, who has been keeping a fairly low profile. But it’s official. He’s a first rate loon. (Note: I use the term in the sense of total lack of common sense and intellectual integrity, but you can easily find sites that argue for literal insanity.)

Talk about the kettle calling the pot black. The abuses were known by the church and they chose to hide it. That in itself would make it “normal” to those in the church. I feel as if I should invoke the name of God here but I shan’t. Shame.
