ID testimony in deadly Arizona home-invasion case allowed
An Arivaca woman whose husband and youngest daughter were shot to death in May 2009 will be allowed to testify one of the people involved in the slayings looked like suspect Shawna Forde.
On May 30, 2009, Raul Flores let a tall man and a short woman dressed in camouflage into his home when they knocked on his door at 1 a.m., identified themselves as police officers and claimed to be looking for fugitives. When Flores asked the man why his gun had duct tape on it and why they hadn’t shown them badges, the man opened fire, killing Flores, wounding his common-law wife, Gina Gonzalez, and killing the couple’s 9-year-old daughter, Brisenia.
