Forde murder trial comes to halt as witness appears in disguise
Shenanigans by a racist out to defend her racist friend:
The capital murder trial of Shawna Forde came to an abrupt halt this morning when a witness in the case - one of Shawna Forde’s biggest supporters - came into the courtroom in disguise, violating a court order that all witnesses remain outside the courtroom.
Laine Lawless, wearing a black wig, short trenchcoat and sunglasses, was immediately spotted by reporters and detectives [good disguise, eh?]. One of the detectives alerted prosecutor Rick Unklesbay, who immediately asked to approach the bench of Judge John Leonardo.

Lawless told the judge she understood his order, but objected to it as she is a “citizen reporter” who has a right to be in the courtroom. She insisted she was told she was not going to be called as a witness, something the attorneys for both sides denied telling her.

Here’s more about Laine Lawless:
…On Sunday, Apr. 9, a little-known anti-immigrant vigilante group made its television debut. That’s when the self-named “Border Guardians” burned the Mexican Flag in front of the Mexican consulate in Tucson. The publicity stunt made news across the country. The group’s director, Laine Lawless, did an interview with a 5 Investigates producer that day.
Lawless said, “I just don’t like the idea of a group of people invading America.”
What she did not know was that 5 Investigates reporter Morgan Loew had joined the Border Guardians undercover a month earlier.
With a hidden camera, Loew documented their tactics and caught Lawless admitting she’d accept racists into the group.
Lawless said, “What I need right now are bodies. At this point, I don’t even care if they’re racist, just as long as they’re not obnoxious to people of color who are also in the group.”
