If the Democrats had any since, that’s what they would be hollering. We have really got to get a better noise machine, because losing to these people makes no since at all. I can’t believe most pro-lifers would support this kind of stuff.

No, you had it right the first time. I don’t believe most pro-lifers support letting the mother die rather than perform and abortion either. Even most Catholic hospitals would reject this option nowdays. There are a few however, who would try to just pass you off at risk of your health. That’s why laws prohibit that sort of thing. What ridiculous mental acrobatics do they have to go through to convince themselves this stuff makes sense?
