Palomas man who killed in self-defense gunned down with his wife
Several gunmen on Tuesday killed a man who last month shot three men dead in self defense in the border town of Palomas, Chihuahua state police said.
At the scene, police also found the body of his wife next to a 9-millimeter handgun.
The police chief of Ascensión, which oversees Palomas, said gunfire erupted about 6 p.m. outside the junkyard of the victim Alvaro Sandoval, 50. Chief Manuel Martínez said he believes Sandoval’s wife Griselda Pedroza, 35, went outside with a handgun to defend her husband before she was killed also.
