There was a lot of potential digging with this guy in this interview that didn't get done. He brought the "race" word in without even being jostled to do so and connected it with the Dream Act and immigration.

As for Bush and Obama doing the same sort of thing on immigration, I'm afraid he's right but he doesn't get why that is. It's not "multi-culti" or anything like that that compels Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush or Barack Obama into favor welcoming migrants into the mainstream, it's the fact that this growing, largely Hispanic demographic is both a huge, working part of the labor force and increasingly politically active.

I've heard of YWC. I believe Robert Spencer has connections to them. It's a certainly vile group. We have a YAF chapter here on campus and I remember my first semester here as a transfer student seeing a flyer advertising that Tom Tancredo would be speaking to them. I just love how the right makes a lot of hoopola of Obama's connections but is quiet abotu their own doings. This is a truly racist group.

The ties are worse than just that Spencer. Their front page advertised the work of Richard Spencer, a white supremacist who took umbrage with the casting of a black man in the upcoming Thor movie.

It's revealing about conservatism that this group is uncontroversial and GOProud is.

This kind of stuff is welling up from the abyss, now with slightly less pretension of taking the high ground (e.g., see the Geert Wilders story Thanos posted today.)

Ultimately I think this racism/xenophobia will blow up in the face of "conservatives" and the GOP, but it's going to be an ugly ride.

Tom Tancredo? He's right about the Clinton repeat though.

Yeah sheesh is right. If I am not mistaken, YWC wants to re-write history to make the Crusades look like a good thing. Needs to be pointed out that not only were Muslims massacred by Crusaders but also Jews and I believe Eastern Christians as well.
