Alice Cooper and Jackson Browne to headline benefit show in Tucson
Liberal songwriting icon Jackson Browne will join the more conservative Alice Cooper in a concert here next month to benefit a new civility fund established by Ron Barber, who survived the Jan. 8 shootings.
The March 10 concert at the Tucson Arena will raise money for the Fund for Civility, Respect and Understanding, established by Barber and his family and announced Wednesday at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, which will administer the fund.

The civility fund, held by the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, will support people affected by the Jan. 8 shootings, and will promote civility in public discourse, schools and the community.
Barber, who made the first donation to the fund, said he wanted to build something positive over the long term from the flood of compassion and goodwill he’s experienced since the shootings.
