Not a peep from neighboring Oklahoma, where they thought Sharia law was on the verge of taking over. The fundies are going big in Texas, but that's okay with them.

You know the new social studies curriculum is f***ed up when a conservative group calls it out for stupidity.

Scathing. A disastrous verdict that everyone knew was coming. The Texas SBOE has some obvious issues.

It makes me wonder, who got the F's? I mean they would almost have to just have a book filled with blank pages except for a pic of a hand flipping the bird to be any worse than Texas books at this point.

Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Wisconsin, Wyoming. Interestingly Rhode Island did not get a grade at all because it does not have any social science standards.
