Far-right Jews marched in a predominantly Arab suburb of Tel Aviv on Wednesday, waving Israeli flags in what angry Arab residents and the mayor of the Israeli sea-side metropolis condemned as a ‘provocation.’
About 60 activists marched through the main street of Jaffa, Tel Aviv’s southern-most neighbourhood, for the event organized by an ultra-nationalist movement.
Meanwhile, some 100 left-wing activists held a counter demonstration in another part of Jaffa.
