The Church was also a polling place and this incident happened after an election.
A man from Madison County charged for a bomb found in a church on the day after a runoff election last June reached a plea agreement with prosecutors. The church served as a polling place for the election.
Mark Krause, 40, pleaded guilty on Wednesday in federal court to conspiracy to possess unregistered firearms. He had initially been charged with possession of a bomb.
Krause admitted to conspiring to possess illegal weapons that included machine guns and silencers. He faces up to five years in prison.
The bomb was inside a soda can at Osage Baptist Church in Carroll County and was rigged to explode when moved. Authorities say it did not explode because a switch was not properly installed.
