I have read all of the emails provided from NPR. I still don’t see any evidence of “repeatedly refused to accept”. Unless asking for more information is considered a refusal. So I am still waiting for that evidence.

In fact the emails make it clear to me that IF they had been a registered 501c, there would have been no problem with accepting the money. They certainty don’t speak of any issue with where the money was coming from, only the lack of a 990.

Wouldn’t you like to have seen some discussion about not taking the money because the group is a Muslim Brotherhood backed group?

AND it is nice to hear that the lawyers kept them honest with respect to following the law. However I don’t think this started out as a sting to show that NPR would break the tax law, it was to show that they would get into bed with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Clearly if it meant money, Betsy Liley, and other in the organization would gladly play the role of anti-semite. Maybe that is OK with you? Maybe you think it is alright to pretend to agree with racists as long as they pay the bill?

I know you loved O’Keefe for his racist smears against Sherrod, but I’m surprised you haven’t realized he’s completely toxic at this point.

A 990, form, by the way, shows significant information about a non-profit, and would be the first thing you were looking at if you had cocnerns about that non-profit’s activities or makeup.

You seem to think that the “muslim brotherhood” part was said otherwise than in conversation with the fundraising dude. Can you provide some proof of that, please? There is absolutely nothing about it in these emails.

Stop bringing facts into the discussion. Buck doesn’t need them. =P

You remind me a lot of Dan Rather and his group. Just throw away the evidence in front of you because it comes from people who have no standing.

Well, it looks to me that you are defending these people solely because of your tribal obligation. Just like the people who defended Rather.

I would think that you would celebrate the ‘taking the trash to the curb’. That you would be happy to see a shakeup at NPR, and hope that they learn to balance their coverage of the middle east.

Put aside for a moment that you agree completely with what Schiller said about the Tea Party and the republican party.

I am surprised that based on what was said about Israel and Zionism “you haven’t realized he’s completely toxic at this point.”

Stopped reading after this. Clearly, it’s just more of your concern.

So, the fundraising dude (AKA the President of the NPR Foundation and Senior Vice President of Development) knowing that the group was started by the MB is not enough. What about the fact that on their website it states clearly the goal of “the establishment of Sharia worldwide”? Hint: It actually says “spread acceptance of Sharia across the world” on every page.

I would think that the combination of the knowledge of the President of the NPR Foundation and Senior Vice President of Development, and a simple view of the website meactrust.org would have brought at least ONE mention of “do we really want to accept money from these guys?”

You are looking hard to find ways to defend these bad apples. I have to wonder why?

It’s actually very simple, Buck — I just don’t give a damn about your opinions or your concerns. Post all the long-winded diatribes you want, but I’m not going to engage them seriously.

You call him the fundraising dude, but he was really the President of the NPR Foundation and Senior Vice President of Development. I know you want to make it seem like he was just a contractor, or part time player. However the TRUTH seems to show otherwise.

I don’t know for sure what the Senior Vice President of Development does, but is really really sounds important.

OK, you want to sweep this under the rug? Fine with me. That is for you to live with. I personally would not want to be on that side of this.

What are you talking about? How does calling him the fundraising dude make him seem like a contractor? You’re making no sense.

I don’t know for sure what the Senior Vice President of Development does, but is really really sounds important.

He solicits large-scale donations and manages the overall donation strategy. It’s not a job that I have a lot of respect for, even for the best of causes.

However, you’re failing to address what I actually said, preferring to use your fearsome psychic abilities to determine what I was really trying to do.

So again:

1. A 990 form is the most information available about a non-profit.

2. Nothing in those emails shows the group identifying as a Muslim Brotherhood group.

Care to take a whack at that?

Do you remember how, when Brietbart’s attack on Sherrod initially occurred, you were damn certain she had said something terribly racist? Before accusing others of tribalism, you might want to think long and hard about why you jumped to that pathetic conclusion.

Actually just he opposite. I was asking to see the whole video, and was questioning why it was taking so long.

Actually I address that in #7

Obviously these are not ALL the emails. For example none of the emails are from, or even CC Ronald Schiller. Is that strange or what?

Many 501s post their 990 and other documents online, so I suspect that they would have checked out the website. On the website it is clear and on every page that they want to “spread acceptance of Sharia across the world”.

We are still against that right? I mean I admit that I don’t keep up everyday anymore, but I am pretty sure we are against any group that states as its goal is “the establishment of Sharia worldwide” and to “spread acceptance of Sharia across the world”.

So they told the President of the NPR Foundation and Senior Vice President of Development. AND they put goal is “the establishment of Sharia worldwide” on the website.

Somehow I think that means everyone knew, but it was not a problem cause there are no “Zionist or pro-Israel” ideas at NPR.

Actually Obidicut is telling the truth, you were sure she said something terribly racist. Even though you were asking for the full videos it was because you thought she was keeping them under wraps to hide what she had actually said.

Quite disingenuous of you to try and frame it as if you wanted to see the videos for the truth rather than as something you could dig through and find even more dirt.
