Last known photo of missing New York Times photographers in Libya
By Jonathan Woods, msnbc.com: As reported on Wednesday, four journalists covering the fighting in Libya for The New York Times are missing. The Times says it’s holding out hope that the team is alive and in the custody of the Libyan government.
Times Director of Photography Michele McNally confirmed to msnbc.com that this is the last known image of the photographers (taken Friday, March 11) before they went missing on Tuesday, March 15.
The four were last in contact with editors on Tuesday from the northern port city of Ajdabiya, where they were covering the retreat of rebels.
