I wouldn't waste the spit on the UN. The UN has long since failed to live up to the lofty ideals upon which it was formed and for which it was intended. It is powerless to prevent or put a stop to real genocide. As a practical matter, its existence and the purported need to secure its blessing operates more as a hindrance than a help to those nations that are willing to bear the burdens of policing the world. And with every reflexive anti-Israel resolution, the UN further demonstrates to any who are paying attention, that its only role in the world today is to protect despots, dictators and tyrants in the way that they have protected themselves for over 2000 years, by targeting Israel, the Jew among nations, for special abuse. The UN has proved to be as great a failure as the League of Nations that preceded it; the only question is what will it take for the people and nations of the free world to admit this fact and give the organization the ignominious burial that it deserves and has earned.

NYPD has been trying that method for years. It doesn't work, because they don't pay the fines.
