Hannity does a swan dive into birtherism
All week, Sean Hannity has been defending the birthers after Donald Trump went into that wading pool on The View, saying that President Obama needs to show his birth certificate.
Of course, like all birthers, Hannity neglects to produce a shred of evidence that Obama wasn’t born outside the US. And like the birther curious, he commits a common form of right wing idiocy by conceding that he believes the President was born in Hawaii, yet he still wants to see the birth certificate.
Here he hosted a birther confab on his radio show:
All you need to know about this segment is that within 15 seconds, Hannity cites World Nut Daily, and Jerome Corsi, the former a repository of right wing conspiracy theories, and the latter a huckster who has been promoting all manner of conspiracies.
And Hannity legitimizes them by hosting them on his show.
Five’ll getcha ten that the word “shame” has been redacted from Hannity’s dictionary.
