Officials head to Waukesha County to check election procedures
“The state Government Accountability Board is dispatching officials to the Waukesha County Clerk’s Office Friday afternoon to review procedures used in tallying results of Tuesday’s Supreme Court election.
The county became the focus of intense scrutiny after Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus announced on Thursday — two days after the election — that she had made an error in failing to report more than 11,000 votes in the race, which pitted Justice David Prosser against challenger Assistant Attorney General JoAnne Kloppenburg”
I used to work for the Wisconsin State Elections Board before it became the GAB. I am really glad I’m not there now having to deal with the mess this incompetent clerk has made. Still we had worse in the past.
