What am I missing? Is this supposed to be torture? Were these people beaten? If these are indeed the best examples of Israeli ‘occupation’ heavy handedness, the Palestinians are fortunate indeed.

If the positions were reversed, I suspect the images would be a lot different.

Religion of the perpetually outraged….and no one will call them on it, for fear they will be next to have a knife in the chest of one of their staff. Seems they have gotten the upper hand on the entire world.

I don’t understand why this is supposed to be so outrageous.

When anybody confronts any one of the threats from the Middle East, it seems like it’s always asymmetrical, whether it’s words, pictures or warfare.

One of the “good guys” takes a photo like this. Or draws a cartoon with Mohammed in it. Or someone burns a Koran - which, let’s remember, it just a BOOK.

The Islamists react with outrage, rioting, murdering, bombing, issuing death sentences on cartoonists - CARTOONISTS for crying out loud.

I just don’t know what to make of the whole thing, but it seems to me that a court martial and making her a pariah is over the top, especially considering that just a few days ago Palestinians blew up a school bus with an anti-tank missle.

In the Torah there is a special Kohen in charge of warfare. Along with this written section, there is the Midrash of the internalized code that the soldiers possessed. It was quite stringent, and even surprised Moses, as to what they believed to be their code of conduct.

It’s not a comparative standard. Presently, the IDF is trying to get soldiers and ex-soldiers to raise their internal code—if need be by imposing an external code, rules and regulations.

Everyone above, you all have good points. Still, she shouldn’t have posted the pictures, or at least she should have done some cropping.
