Sarah Leah Whitson was hired as HRW’s MENA director (2004) after having worked as an anti-Israel activist. As thisHuffington Post article and many other statements demonstrate, and as documented in an article in The New Republic, she has abused her position at HRW to pursue this activism.

HRW has devolved, just as has Amnesty International, to an organization who’s policies are driven by where they get the easiest donations.
Oh, did I forget to mention the NRA?

Their own founder has denounced them.
“Robert Bernstein, the founder of Human Rights Watch, one of the world’s leading human rights organisations, accused the New York-based group of anti-Israeli bias yesterday….
“As the founder of Human Rights Watch, its active chairman for 20 years and now founding chairman emeritus, I must do something that I never anticipated: I must publicly join the group’s critics,” he wrote.
“Human Rights Watch had as its original mission to pry open closed societies, advocate basic freedoms and support dissenters. But recently it has been issuing reports on the Israeli-Arab conflict that are helping those who wish to turn Israel into a pariah state.”

Amnesty International, like HRW, has “evolved” into an organization dedicated to maligning the state of Israel. The following is an example. Note the venue and organizers. Not surprisingly, the chair is a former “journalist” from the Guardian, the most explicitly anti-Israel newspaper in the western world:
