Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi has made a short television appearance after weeks of absence.
Gadhafi appeared on Libyan state television for several minutes on Wednesday evening. A camera filmed him from a distance as he sat with tribal leaders. He did not speak.
The Libyan leader has not appeared on camera in weeks, prompting rumors that he may have been injured in a NATO shelling this month that targeted his compound. The shelling killed one of Gadhafi’s sons.
