I can’t wait to hear the College Rebublicans’ response to this
Will they denounce racists on the right or cry about the “liberal media?”
I’m on the edge of my seat.

Of course they could just ignore the article althogether so they don't have to risk alienating the most vocal and obnoxious members of the GOP base.

This reporting is weak:
Events like those — and the group's first national conference, scheduled next month in Washington — are designed to attract attention to YWC's defense of "Western culture," which it defines as "the social norms, values, practices, and high culture of Europe and those places settled predominantly by the peoples from that area."Liberal groups like the SPLC contend that language like that is white nationalist code — rhetoric calibrated to sound non-controversial to potential mainstream conservative donors while sending a message of solidarity to right-wing extremists.
Any person with at least half a brain can read some of that "calibrated rhetoric" and know exactly what's going on. Blaming "liberal groups" and the SPLC for "contending" that it is "code" just provides the opening for the standard defense: "Oh, they are using us to raise money."

I think in some cases, YWC and College Republicans are linked together.

I notice that there were already 1800 comments at that MSNBC piece.
This is certainly a hot button issue, and as we've seen with Huck's latest ad the GOP candidates are sure to exploit it.

Yep, I am not surprised at all.
The CRNC should be getting fired up for 2012 about now. I loved watching their website and field rep twitter feeds during the Ashley Todd fiasco.

From what I've been told, my college's Republicans are huge Palin boosters. I don't know any of them though. Most political club members are government majors obviously. But I am sure it was fun to watch.

I use to consider myself a left leaning moderate. Not any more, i am decidedly left.
Who is responsible for this new surge in mainstreaming white nationalism? Why are adults and people i use to have at least some respect for allowing this to go on and get worse?
I will never have any trust or respect for the Republican party again. Never.
