Expanding earth my ass
Why are so many people willing to believe a nutty 19th century idea over 50 years of solid and growing evidence for plate tectonics? Because scientists are always conspiring to keep the truth from us, of course.

Mass goes in, plates spread out, never a miscomunication. I can’t explain that.

They would’ve done better by saying that the mass of the earth remained the same, only the density changed, therefore requiring a larger area to contain such mass. It would still be completely false science, of course, but at least it would have had a grounding in an actually science-based principle.
