Pastor Ariel Torres Ortega, for example, said that God believes "those who practice such things are worthy of death." The senator's wife Leslie Diaz swore up and down that she was not homophobic from the dais. "This is not about hate, this is about love," she repeated twice.

Hard to get that much contradiction into one paragraph. But NOM succeeded.

I don't understand this reasoning. How is this about love? If this is not homophobic what do they define as homophobic?
This stuff is starting to piss me off. They aren't white nationalists, people who are against white nationalist rhetoric are actually the bigots? We aren't homophobic and we don't hate gay people we just don't want them to have equal rights and think they need to die?
I have even heard people arguing that gay people do have equal rights, they have the equal right to marry a person of the opposite sex as everyone else does!!11!!
At least the skin heads are honest and direct with their beliefs unlike these fork tongued idiots.

We love our gay brothers an sisters. We do. This is not about hate. It's about love. It's just that God wants you dead. Not us. We love you,you abomination you.

I've been watching True Blood recently. I'm struck by the parallels of the fictional vampires trying to integrate along with the hideous backlash of the 'good' people against this 'abomination' and the struggle of gays to be accepted. It adds a feeling of reality to the series.

Main difference is that vampires really are scary. /

Moments later she described homosexual behavior as "an abomination."

I have a mental dictionary of monikers for fragile flowers like her. Problem is, in polite company the one that comes to mind ends in an "unt" sound. For that matter, it applies to her husband.

Pastor Ariel Torres Ortega, for example, said that God believes "those who practice such things are worthy of death."

He should take his religious lovefest to the mountains. Like, maybe the mountains of Afghanistan.

The only response I have to any of this comes from George Carlin:

LOL!

The senator's wife Leslie Diaz swore up and down that she was not homophobic from the dais.

Lying for Jesus, maybe?
