2 Alabama men sentenced in pipe bomb case
Federal authorities say two Cullman men have been sentenced to 40 months in prison on explosives charges after pipe bombs were detonated in Cullman in December.
Chief U.S. District Judge Sharon Lovelace Blackburn sentenced 22-year-olds Joshua Kirk Kugler and Billy Scott Simmons for possessing unregistered destructive devices, transporting and receiving explosives, and making a destructive device.
Authorities said both men pleaded guilty to the charges in February.
