Cool. I just bought a 'bridge' camera which has manual controls over these settings, but there isn't much in the way of explanation in the manual. This looks really useful.

Just know that bridge and compact cameras have a very tiny sensor, and thus a very wide angle lens (normally 6-11mm), to accommodate a normal view-of-field. Because these lenses have such a small focal length, getting a real shallow depth-of-field is very unlikely - especially because at the longer end of the zoom, those lenses get awfully slow (f/6.3 and beyond).
Moreover, many compacts don't even have a real aperture, many just have a grey filter.
This tool is really useful for SLRs (and I guess the mirrorless bunch), users of compacts might be disappointed with the real-life effects of setting the aperture...
