1 First As Tragedy, Then As Farce  Sat, May 28, 2011 5:17:43pm

For possibly entertaining context:

Farmer’s Branch, Texas isn’t some rural backwater. It’s a nearby suburb of Dallas. It was home to Robert Tilton’s ministry back in the day. Benny Hinn’s WHQ is nearby, situated in Grapevine.

The more you know…

Farmer’s Branch is also the Dallas suburb that has been in the news more than once for its blatanly racist immigration laws.

4 What, me worry?  Sun, May 29, 2011 5:29:31pm

Amazing show. I’ll have to watch it now!

Not so surprising tho, that the NYers weren’t as verbal. I don’t think it’s so much what they personally think rather than the culture of where they live. The Texas town is small and intimate. Where you say hello to strangers passing on the sidewalk and there’s more interaction overall with people you don’t know. The woman in NY said, “It’s none of my business,” but that’s how they live. You see so many bizarre things in the big city, you get desensitized to what goes on around you and just go on your merry way. Well, that’s my theory.
