Deeply unpopular Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) may soon become President Obama’s secret weapon in his effort to once again win the largest swing state in 2012, reports Politico, as “Obama’s 2012 campaign team…plans to leverage Scott for all he’s worth to overcome stiff economic and political headwinds in the state.”
“Almost single-handedly, he’s managed to energize a Democratic base demoralized by last year’s midterms. The party’s surprising victories in the Tampa and Jacksonville mayor’s races this spring were fueled by anti-Scott fervor.
