Cyberwarfare is coming to the forefront as the world gets further and further enmeshed in electronic social networks and communication.
A greater question that lurks is how much government-sponsored interference and sabotage of internet content should be allowed or approved of. It might be “enemies” getting worked over now, but at some point does one’s friends become the target of this sort of activity? And what recourse does one have at that point if these shenanigans have been tolerated without comment, or with approval, to this point?
