Repulsive woman is repulsive.

Ann loves to hear herself talk. She's a real American. You know, the kind that shoots other Americans she disagrees with.

She has a book out and is making attention-getting statements? The ol' surprise-o-meter reads zero.

4 The Questionable Timing of a Flea  Wed, Jun 8, 2011 5:47:45am

Everything she says is calculated to sell the next book.

She's proof that if you're a crap comedian you just re-tool, present yourself as political wonk, and profit. Authoritarians tend to possess only that strangely stunted variety of humor that finds amusememt in imagining the suffering or denigration of those they dislike; it's any easy market to pander to:

1. Know who your audience hates and fears.
2. Describe them being hurt or humiliated.
3. Be discrete about the power-slash-rage boners your fans experience.
4. PROFIT

Not a partisan thing either: a Black Bloc anarchist is just as humorless as an apocalypse-hungry evangelical.

She's a fascist is what she is. Doesn't get any more simple than that.

Ok, Ann, tell us this: If the shootings were justified, why did fewer than half of the Guardsmen who were actually there fire their weapons, and even fewer fire for effect? The 77 M-1 rifles they carried were each loaded with 10 rounds of 30-06 hardball ammunition. They could easily have fired five hundred or more shots in the 13 seconds the shooting went on, which would have left hundreds of casualties. Instead, only 67 shots were fired, hitting 13 people.

We should remember this when a tea party mob gets threatening. Ann will no doubt forget though.

Every time I hear another snotty quip of Ann Coulter's, I alsways think it's a pity horses with prettier faces and more pleasant demeanors are stuck pulling plows and wagons.

And then I think of Henry Rollins, and what he said about Ann. Then I smile.

Has that ever REALLY happened? has there ever been a " tea party mob" that the police had to be called in and tea party people were arrested.... dragged off, held by the authorities?

You know like the WTO mobs, or the anti war rallies of 2001-2006?

Did I say it HAS happened, Buck? The conditional phrasing should be apparent to most English speakers. It should be especially obvious to TPers given their penchant for statements like, "IF Obama tries to confiscate our guns and Bibles......"
I won't even count the various kooks who showed up with ARs and such at TP events, since they didn't try to use them.

Hey... I was just asking. Maybe you saw something that I didn't.

I remember the guy who showed up at the AZ TP rally with a with a pistol on his hip, and an AR-15 (a semi-automatic assault weapon) on a strap over his shoulder.

This article had a picture of him: [Link: www.azcentral.com...]

Clearly just another Tea Party White Supremacist...

Pope Francis Says Atheists Who Do Good Are Redeemed, Not Just Catholics
Pope Francis rocked some religious and atheist minds today when he declared that everyone was redeemed through Jesus, including atheists. During his homily at Wednesday Mass in Rome, Francis emphasized the importance of "doing good" as a principle that unites all humanity, and a "culture of encounter" to support peace. Using scripture from the Gospel of Mark, Pope Francis explained how upset Jesus' ...

Holder: We’ve Droned 4 Americans, 3 by Accident.
In an extraordinary admission, Attorney General Eric Holder has told Congress that U.S. drone strikes since 2009 have killed four Americans -- three of whom were "not specifically targeted." For all the effort that the Obama administration has gone to in asserting that its drones only kill the people that the administration intends to kill, Holder wrote in a letter today to Sen. ...

WAPO’s Glenn Kessler Gives Three “Pinocchios” To Claim of Doctored Emails
It has long been part of the Washington game for officials to discredit a news story by playing up errors in a relatively small part of it. Pfeiffer gives the impression that GOP operatives deliberately tried to "smear the president" with false, doctored e-mails. But the reporters involved have indicated they were told by their sources that these were summaries, taken from notes ...

Obesity is on the rise-- as is the incidence of Heart Disease, Diabetes, Stroke and various forms of Cancer. A groundbreaking scientific study showed how easily (and inexpensively) the rate of occurrence of these and other serious illness could be greatly reduced-- but this information ...
