We are Palin and Palin is us.
From Right Wing Watch:
In an article that the Tea Party Nation sent to its members, Marcus said that the Tea Party is needed to combat “a spirit of Antichrist” found among progressives. “The mindset of the American left is a spirit of Antichrist which is man making himself God,” Marcus writes. “Make no mistake about it folks, we are in a spiritual battle.”
Make no mistake about it folks, we are in a spiritual battle. Ask yourself. Specifically, what about Sarah Palin inspires such visceral hatred from the left? The word is “wholesome”.
I guess this is just further proof that I’m not a leftist or a liberal, because I feel no visceral hatred for Palin. Hell, I don’t even feel any “run of the mill hatred” for her. Sometimes maybe a little pity, but that feeling fades quickly every time she opens her mouth and lets drop another gem of vapid ideology.
BTW Marcus, I think you’re confusing “wholesome” with “feckless”. Just sayin’.
The large number of Christians in the tea party believe in right and wrong. The left has a huge problem with the concept of right and wrong. Their religion of Liberalism embraces Moral Relativism. For these reasons, Palin and tea party are as repulsive to liberals as showing Dracula the cross.
Despite the left’s relentless attempts to ban God from America’s public square, the emergence and power of the tea party tells me God is still on our side.
Of course we can’t simply be on different sides of the aisle, with different ideas on how to approach this nation’s problems. We have to be on the side of divinity, fighting actual demons and devils, with our ideas and ideals being articles of pure faith. That’s some real “Holy Warrior” bullshit right there.
