Today, there was an ANSWER conference in Los Angeles. At the top of the agenda was the current intervention in Libya and how they were against it. However, an interesting development occurred, in that Libyans, Libyan-Americans, and those who have experience with the nation under Qaddafi were not allowed to be at this conference. Cynthia McKinney was present however. It appears ANSWER is not willing to even hear the truth of what is going in the country.

In addition, they flat-out lying about a picture, seen below.

ANSWER coalition has said that this is a picture of a Bunker Buster exploding in Tripoli. However this is a flat-out lie. This picture is actually from the first few days of the intervention, south of Benghazi, when French fighter jets intercepted and attacked a military convoy that included fuel trucks, hence the size of the blast.

One thing which tips off that this isn’t Tripoli the landscape, which is very rural, and does not show many buildings. Tripoli, on the other hand, is heavily built up, which is what one would expect from a city about the size of Dallas.

Another thing wrong with this picture is the fact that a bunker buster explodes, not above ground, but below ground. So it can destroy the bunker.
