Right-Wing Witch Hunt Goes After Jim Hansen

I find it hard to comment on this. I’d rather weep.
Something called the American Tradition Institute has filed a lawsuit against Jim Hansen, a brilliant scientist at NASA, claiming that as a public employee he has been taking money “from the very environmental organizations whose agenda he advocated.” Which is to say, he has received many major awards for distinguished science, some of which have involved monetary rewards. He was paid speakers fees. And (shock!) his conference fees were once waived by the Clinton Foundation.
The article already has 1000 hate-filled comments accusing this man of every kind of sleaze and corruption. It’s just horrible.
