Help me understand this legislation?

Help me with this one, I don’t get the purpose.

thomas.loc.gov:

“Expressing the sense of the Senate that the primary safeguard for the well-being and protection of children is the family, and that the primary safeguards for the legal rights of children in the United States are the Constitutions of the United States and the several States, and that, because the use of international treaties to govern policy in the United States on families and children is contrary to principles of self-government and federalism, and that, because the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child undermines traditional principles of law in the United States regarding parents and children, the President should not transmit the Convention to the Senate for its advice and consent.”

If the UN tries to make any rules with regards to "Rights of the Child", and those rules "undermines traditional principles of law in the United States regarding parents and children", then the "Constitutions of the United States" take precedent.

The President should not even come knocking on the Senate to make any changes to that.

Why do we need separate legilation for this. I thought we already established our sovereignty in regards to the Constitution vs. the UN.

This isn't legislation; this is a sense of the Senate resolution. But it is silly, superfluous, grandstanding. Is there any chance this will be submitted to the Senate?

It is, I assume, telling the President to not do something he isn't doing anyway. The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child is over 20 years old and no prior president submitted it.

You see, the evul Globalists have been, ever since the first Bilderberg meeting, trying to destroy the United States (God's last remaining light on this Earth and chosen people, except for the Jews but they're still waiting to be perfected, but that is a long story...) and their principle tool to achieve this is the United Nations.

The latest scheme of the Globalists is to destroy the traditional family - you know, where the Father is on top, the Mother does his bidding, and the children obey their father or else. Since the traditional family is the basic building unit God has used to create his chosen nation, undoing the traditional family would destroy the US.

Since allowing children "rights" of which their father would not approve, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child would be a mortal blow to the traditional family.

Since it is clear that President Obama is a tool of the Globalists (and by extension Satan), he will try to foist the UN Convention onto God's shining light. Since the US Senate's duty is to protect our Holy Constitution, the Senate must communicate to the President that it will not allow the wicked deed to be foisted upon us.
