This case made no sense from the beginning. If she indeed cried rape after willingly participating, I hope that she's put away for a long, long time.

I tend to think that:

1. Something non consensual happened, possibly in the course of what had been consensual sex. Her demeanor after the incident is pretty typical of that, and the physical evidence exists.

2. She has some character issues that will make it impossible to put her on the stand.

3. Because of that, this case is over and he will go free. There is zero chance that prosecuters will go after her, since there is at least a 50/50 chance she is telling the truth (or some of the truth) and she was sexually assaulted at some point. It is impossible to know at this point.

4. I do not feel sorry for Strauss in the slightest. His background led straight to this. If he is guilty and still able to walk away, then I really hope he contracts something that rots his dick off.

I don't pretend to know what happened in that hotel room. However I know I would not want anyone to be convicted of any crime by the media.

I believe a person is innocent unless convicted by a jury of their peers. If only because I want that consideration for me.

There is about 50 downdings I would like back from this thread.

Looks like I will be proven right, that the police and media moved much too quick, and failed to investigate BEFORE arresting a man and destroying his life.

Does the fact that she lied to investigators about being previously raped not bother you?

It is being reported that while relating the previous (now known to be bogus) rape she cried... put on quite the act they say.
