Doesn’t matter much, because human beings can’t really effect the earth’s environment, only God can.
And also, such a little bit of oil! Such a big river!
Moreover, do not forget that oil is a good thing! Everywhere and always. It helps humankind.
Oh, and it’s natural!
Remember too how fast they cleaned up the Gulf. Can we drill somewhere in Yellowstone too? Energy Independence Now!

Yet somehow, Hydrofracturing for gas in the Marcellus shale is going to be safe. I despair of the future.

After seeing the BP disaster first hand here in the south I say the sooner we get off fossil fuels the better.
