Vintage Ann Coulter: If Women Could Not Vote This Country Would Be Much Better.
Back in 2003 Ann Coulter did an interview with a reporter from the Guardian, I suppose she assumed that it would only be published in the U.K. because she was unusually frank with the reporter. The entire article is worth reading as a glimpse into the workings of Ann Coulter’s mindset, but I picked this little gem out of her rant.
Who exactly has the vote who shouldn’t have? “Women,” she says, laughing. “It’s true. It would be a much better country if women did not vote. That is simply a fact. In fact, in every presidential election since 1950 - except Goldwater in ‘64 - the Republican would have won, if only the men had voted.”
I suppose I should be thanking the Womens Suffrage campaign for keeping the country at least partially sane for almost the last Century.
