2 killed, 10 wounded in restive southern Thailand violence
A man and his wife on Monday were gunned down and ten people were wounded by explosion in separated events in southern provinces of Thailand on Monday, MCOT online reported.
In southern province of Narathiwat’s Rangae district, while Mama Samao, 49, and his wife were on their way to work at a rubber plantation, three assailants in an ambush shot at the victims. The couple was sent to a nearby hospital where they were later pronounced dead.
A preliminary investigation found the vehicle lying on the ground and a pool of blood and 30 spent cartridges from an AK47 assault rifle and an M16 assault rifle at the scene.
