Helluva thing... We need a sharper better media as an important check and balance overall in society.

The front page story on Huffington Post all day long has been an article mocking President Obama for the many times he's pledged to pivot towards jobs.

Think we would have ever seen the equivalent type of post about W on Fox or Drudge?

I haven't been over to huffpo since at least when Howard Fineman took over as editor, but I've never cared for the tabloid-ish, gossipy, somewhat sleazy feel to the place. I'm not sure if it's changed since I've last been over though.

I've been reading Huffington Post for years and I wish you could point me to some Huffington Post "hate" because I must have been missing it all this time.

And @mr.fusion, do you think you need to go back to school to learn what journalism means. If it's Huffington Post's job to defend Obama, then it's not journalism but pure political propaganda. That's no better than right-wing "journalism" that fills articles on what 'elitist' Obama orders on his cheeseburger but completely ignores when a former Republican senator and Reagan appointee is nabbed under suspicion of channeling money to Al Qaeda.

Whoa homey.......

I'm on your side here.......I'm as big an Obama supporter as there is. Will campaign for, volunteer for, and donate money to his campaign....but I'll be just as vocal about what I see as his failures as anybody else.

The HuffPo's articles on Israel are often bigoted, taking an anti-Israel stance very far, sometimes into seriously questionable territory, such as during the first "Gaza Flotilla". Mostly though, its the commentators who put out the anti-Semitic lines and then those comments aren't deleted.
