I really like seeing the New Scientist articles in my inbox. This post of yours is fascinating; it is only shame that the next generation of American students might have to go to Europe or China to study these theories.

I read Lee Smolin’s book “The trouble with physics” a while ago.
He seems a very talented lad whom Murray Gell-Mann took seriously.
