Really? Seriously? Being raped counts as losing one’s vow of celibacy? This is just so far from being right and just that I can’t even understand how people can think this way.

Women who are raped are victims. They did not “have sex.” They were “assaulted.” The women are very clear on the difference, I am certain.

I hope that wiser heads prevail than those currently speaking. This level of misogyny does not speak well for this woman’s branch of religion.

(I do have to admit that I like the one comment at this article; the attackers will have a hard time proving that a woman with a shaved head and wearing yards of orange fabric in a shapeless lump was “asking for it.”)
