Pfft, he thinks that's something. My mother used to wrestle them!
Right in the hall outside my bedroom!
They said so, so it must be true!*
*These are actual parental quotes. Yes, this group of people has been this crazy, for decades.

I'm sorry that Mike Bickle has been repeatedly attacked by demons.
(Is that what I'm supposed to say here?)

Indeed. Hallucinations are common for schizophrenics.
So it would seem is religion.

I actually read a book about that. Seems there is a difference . . . .

Well, not to get to deep here, but I could have said that hallucinations are common to religion, but that didn't fit the response as well.
Clearly it is not the norm, but I have often thought that for some religion is definitely a real substitute for heavy medication. I suppose one can see that as a positive influence, of sorts.
What was the book?

We weren't quite Irish enough to have demons, but some of our neighbors had a banshee. Big status loss for us.

Damn. All we have is this silly loup garou. Has its own website, and everything.

Demons apparently aren't what they used to be.

I have seen some very weird fundamentalist websites where people talk about battling demons. I mean, not the demons of alcoholism or selfishness, but actual demonic demon things.
Sometimes they complain about very specific stuff. Demons letting air out of their tires. Demons breaking things.
If you talked like that at my dad's parish, Father would pat your hand with one of his, while the other was reaching for the speed dial to Health Services.

Is that what it's called when David Barton hits a kid with a rod?

I have visited Mike Bickle's Intl. House of Prayer in KC, where they've been praying for over a decade, non-stop. It's a weird, cultish place with some, ahem, questionable precepts.

"The Claw" was a cheesy B-movie horror flick in the 50's. In it a French Canadian mistakes the generic monster for a Loup-Garou.

Loup Garou? Wasn't he a cowboy singer in the 30s and 40s, did bit parts with Hopalong Cassidy and Roy Rogers?
