Not awkward at all.
It is easy to say that it is Obama's fault that both buses were built in Canada. The republican candidate cannot be blamed for where they were built.

Really just more bad luck.

Pretty lame but this Rove who attacked McCain for "having" an "illegitimate black daughter" so the old saying consider the source works well here.

How is this bad luck? The Republican candidate is going to get a fully loaded and armored campaign bus almost exactly as the one that Obama is using. The Republican candidate is going to be afforded Secret Service protection. That's not bad luck? That's SOP and that blowhard Karl Rove knows this already. He's just going to play this up for the ignorant masses to create further irrational anger against the president.

So to repeat. The awkward part will be that the Republican candidate will get a similar bus. This will be after the bitching and moaning from the damn big mouth wingnuts. If this had been planned and orchestrated by Saint George W. Bush no one from the right would have said a word. It's going to be awkward and there's no two ways about it.

Maybe you missed the part where the buses were made in Canada. Obama is going around saying that he is working on creating jobs in AMERICA....

That's what was the bad luck. And I was being sarcastic. Obama is on a "blame the bad economy on bad luck, bus tour". Maybe he can blame this screw up on bad luck too.

The bus shell is from Canada. The rest is put together by Hemphill Brothers Coach Company, Nashville, Tennessee. The Republicans would have gotten the same God damned deal. It's irrelevant. And I say this because the wingnuts are all parroting the line that it was an all Canadian bus and that's simply not true.

Ya, it is the wingnut contract that lists the country of origin as Canada and place of manufacture as ”outside U.S. – Trade Agreements,”

Wingnuts Wingnuts..... Everyone who can read is a wingnut...

Anyway... like I said... it will not be awkward at all for anyone to pin that on the Obama administration.
