Things That Make My Heart Weep
The last couple days of rocket bombardments into Israel has all of us terrified. Well, those of us who understand the situation and support the Jewish state.
On Twitter, I’ve been reading the hashtag #ISRAEL which I never really went through before. Yesterday, about 95% of the Israel mentions were fiercely anti-Semitic with calls to kill the Jews and run us into the sea. Most of which were from Egyptians and a few from Britain. Many more were in Arabic which I couldn’t decipher, only guess. They are still there if you don’t want to take my word for it.
I will note that ever since the fall of Mubarak, there has been a huge upswing in terrorist activity in the Sinai which is directly related to this attack.
The Arabs living in Gaza and Jerusalem don’t want peace. They don’t want to talk. They’ve had 60+ years to do both and they reject it every time. Today, they called off the “truce”. What “truce?” Israel has had continued bombardment from Gaza since the Jews left the area. But yet they use this as an excuse to do their evil deeds. They began this recent fight with Israel so that Israel will attack back, and when a child casualty happens, like it did yesterday, they scream how horrible the Israeli government is. Yet, Jewish lives are dreck (shit) and will always be dreck. The Jews don’t feel this way or they wouldn’t have countless hospitals and doctors that risk their lives saving Arab children.
From the time one of these Arab children takes his first breath, they are schooled in the art of killing Jews. They are taught that we Jews are not humans, but pigs and monkeys. They are taught Israel does not exist, but is all Arab lands with Arab-named cities. The indoctrination is steadfast and has gone on for more years that I am old.
While Israel does everything it can to protect innocent life and specifically target bomb making sites and smuggling tunnels, civilians do wind up dead. It is the casualty of this war. 1000s of unarmed Jewish civilians have suffered the same fate, both young and old. But when I read #Israel on Twitter, one would think the Arab children are simply happy-go-lucky tots, mowed down by an “evil oppressor”. The truth is far from that.
And so my heart weeps. Not so much for their innocent lives, but for the lies their immoral supporters tell the world.
Can you handle the truth?
