Yes Bank of America, Keep your Bachmann eyes on the prize.
I can just imagine Bank of America execs getting together and holding hands with the Koch brothers and singing “We Shall Overcome”
Brings tears to my eyes. ///
You know, i never had any real hate or animosity towards big corporations or execs. In fact i never even gave them much of my thoughts. And i would have felt it was only fair to compromise with Corporations, i thought we always had been compromising.-mostly in their favor- But now many are publicly rubbing up on all these crazy idiots and deciding they want it all and screw compromise. On top of that i have to listen to wise ass right wing libertarians mock people like me for “Hating the rich” *flips them all the bird*

Corporate douches truly do make everything they touch tarnished, slimy and cheap. Even something as great as Civil Rights.

“PERRY: Listen, America’s gone a long way from the standpoint of civil rights and thank God we have. I mean we’ve gone from a country that made great strides in issues of civil rights.”

I’m going to go out on a limb and suggest Perry probably has no focking clue about the sit-ins or the struggle for Civil Rights in this country. Hence his rather quick and nonsensicle flip to talking about taxes (which are already obscenely low) and de-regulation.

OK, I’ll admit it. Today’s GOP is making me miss George W already.

Because really, when the civil rights movement was facing fire hoses, dogs, and hostile mobs in the street, they were doing it so corporations could get tax breaks and less regulation in the market.

I didn’t need another reason to dislike Rick Perry. His three terms as governor here have given me more than enough ammo for that. But this? Wow, what an asshole.

Seriously.

I never voted for Dubya. Didn’t vote for his daddy, either, since ‘92 was the first election I could vote in and Clinton got my vote then. I’d still take Dubya over the entire current GOP slate.

Surely Perry’s book and campaign are intended as a parody, just waiting for the “liberal media” to challenge it.

I don’t think he could be any clearer on just what he holds close to his lil’ ol’ heart. This piece of grease is a full blown bought and paid for crony to all things able to line his pockets and stupefy/bully and dupe the general populace. wrapped in a flag with a Bible in one hand and the other one in Uncle Sams pocket That he would lead this nation would be tantamount to handing the keys of your car over to a raging drunk with your family in it. He puts the Capital C in Cronyism/
I think GOP stands for “Grifters on Parade” these days.

I think he does. I think like many cons, he disrespects and resents the Civil Rights movement.

New Method for Producing Clean Hydrogen
Duke University engineers have developed a novel method for producing clean hydrogen, which could prove essential to weaning society off of fossil fuels and their environmental implications. While hydrogen is ubiquitous in the environment, producing and collecting molecular hydrogen for transportation and industrial uses is expensive and complicated. Just as importantly, a byproduct of most current methods of producing hydrogen is carbon monoxide, ...

Mitch McConnell Loses His Mind and Accuses Harry Reid of Intimidating Him
"It all points to a culture of political intimidation. But, unfortunately, it doesn't seem that the culture of intimidation is simply confined to the Executive Branch. The Administration's allies in the Senate are trying to intimidate their political opponents as well. Pope Francis Says Atheists Who Do Good Are Redeemed, Not Just Catholics
Pope Francis rocked some religious and atheist minds today when he declared that everyone was redeemed through Jesus, including atheists. During his homily at Wednesday Mass in Rome, Francis emphasized the importance of "doing good" as a principle that unites all humanity, and a "culture of encounter" to support peace. Using scripture from the Gospel of Mark, Pope Francis explained how upset Jesus' ...

WAPO’s Glenn Kessler Gives Three “Pinocchios” To Claim of Doctored Emails
It has long been part of the Washington game for officials to discredit a news story by playing up errors in a relatively small part of it. Pfeiffer gives the impression that GOP operatives deliberately tried to "smear the president" with false, doctored e-mails. But the reporters involved have indicated they were told by their sources that these were summaries, taken from notes ...
