Enter techeye.net’s Nick Farrell, who wants everyone to know how terrible it is that Steve Jobs did cancer wrong (tip o’ the antlers to markbyrn on Twitter).

The messiah of the Apple cargo cult has walked away from his role as Apple’s CEO after suffering from a bad case of perspective, as we reported at midnight.

Yes, you read that right. Farrell is chastising a cancer sufferer for failing to have had perspective.

Some people hate Apple so much that they feel the need to write poorly constructed, non-factual, hate filled rants about Steve Jobs and Apple as a response to the fact that Jobs is apparently too ill to continue his role as CEO. The Macalope “examines” one such screed from TechEye’s Nick Farrell.

and I click on your link of Q_Q HOW DARE THEY HARSH ON JOBS and the first thing I see is a trashing of Steve Ballmer. Whom I don’t care for, but let’s get off the precious high horse, shall we?

Oh fer fooks sayk. The gossipy tabloid world and GeekTech-dom seems to have collided there for a moment.

I’m not fan of Ballmer but bringing in the ‘sweaty meat sack’ in a discussion about Jobs does seem a little… well, TMZ like.

The writer of the article specializes in snarky asides. He’s known for writing in an entertaining, humorous style. He writes under the pseudonym “The Macalope” for Christ’s sake. The Ballmer reference was meant to be taken lightly. I guess that’s hard to see when read by people that despise anything related to Apple. Amazing that you chose to highlight a joke to discredit everything else in the article. Brilliant take down.
