Austria pulls out of ‘anti-Israel’ Durban III conference
In only a few weeks, and only days after New York City commemoerates the thousands who were incinerated on that fateful day 10 years ago, the hatefest known as Durban III is set to deflie its streets.
Today, Austria, the country that gave the world Adolf Hitler, announced that it recognizes anti-semitism when it sees it and that it will not participate in the event.
Kudos to Austria for joining the small, but praise-worthy group of countries that have taken a principles stand and refused to lend their good names to this travesty.
In the meantime, Britain, France, Germany and other so-called enlightened Western countries apparently still can’t figure out whether anti-semitism is again sufficiently acceptable among polite company to justify their participation, and the Swiss are apparently trying to position themselves again as bankers to the anti-semitic dictators of the world.
