Pa is flooded too... The was the other tropical storm...

How often to tropical storms crawl that far north?

Could it be that the currents really are changing as predicted?

I know a lot of current students there - kids of friends. Reminds me that I have to make some calls. Oh, also of possible tangential interest to you - I am going to a same-sex wedding in CT next week. Daughter of friends. Should be great.

A friend of mine works with archives in New York State, and she and her coworkers were summoned to the flooded areas to salvage what she could. She apparently saw documents from the 1700s "floating".
