Buck, Trumka is president of the AFL-CIO. The thugs who stormed the port were, specifically longshoremen and members of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union . While this union os an affiliate of the AFL-CIO, it i hardly correct to say that Trumka is the “head of this group”. That is the equivalent of pillorying a governor for the actions of a mayor.

Drawing false equivalents is a really low, anti-intellectual debate tactic. You can do better.

That’s pretty much all he can do.

Didn’t you forget to use the word “thugs” or mention the Mafia?

Actually… he is the head of that group. Ultimately, he is charge.

You say he isn’t, but you are wrong. You admit that the Longshoremen are an affiliate of the AFL-CIO. The International Longshore and
Warehouse Union are part of the AFL-CIO.

They joined, and then left, and then rejoined the CIO.

You state that I am wrong, with little or no supporting evidence.
It is NOT a false equivalent. I didn’t say that he ordered the illegal activity, I only said that he was the leader.

And he is.

Actually it was Imp that used the word thugs…. why?

At long last a modern example of “union thugs” is found.

Do you have proof that they “bought friends in high places”. That’s a pretty serious charge.

Follow the money. Donations to politicians…

How else can you explain the lack of serious charges? They were not even wearing masks. The people they held hostage know who they are.
