A North Carolina convenience store was heavily damaged in a middle-of-the-night fire apparently started this week by an arsonist who sprayed hate graffiti marking the anniversary of 9-11.

This reminds me of the delinquents who vandalized the Islamic center here in Lubbock a few years ago. They told police they had set out to vandalize a synagogue (“one of them Jew places”) but couldn’t find one and settled for the Islamic Center.
