My daughter went to the pound last week, and adopted Sam, a wonderful, gentle, sweet, affable dog, especially considering he spent most of his life in a kennel.
As we walked through, we saw hundreds of dogs. They all looked so hopeful!
If you have a chance and the ability to take care of a pet, visit your local animal shelter and adopt a new pet!

Don’t understand why people will pay hundreds for a ‘purebred’ who will have all kinds of health issues from inbreeding instead of just going to the shelter.

I’ve never understood that either. Animal eugenics is something I will never accept.
