Great job Boehner. Upholding a silly law is more important to you than focusing on real crimes.

Boehner knows that when the the DOJ opted put of defending DOMA it didn’t stand a chance in hell of being upheld. He knows hiring private lawyers won’t work. I’m sure he’s heard of just how ridiculous and weak a case was put up during the Prop 8 hearings in CA. Without the DOJ defending DOMA it’s more than likely toast.

King Twit is only doing what he does best; Pandering to the people who pay his salary. And it is not the Ameican people.

Perpetrating the fear that without DOMA all straight people’s marriages are less significant, if not in outright peril. You take the fear and outrage card from these people and they have nothing to work with.

I want these “values voter” types to explain just why gay marriage is such a threat to them and their lives.

I also want Boehner to explain to the American people why defending a bigoted law is more important that funding the Justice Department.

re: #5 Lidane

I want these “values voter” types to explain just why gay marriage is such a threat to them and their lives.

Only they are supposed to have any rights, much less equal ones.

It diminishes their superiority to be placed on the same level as those they deem their inferiors. They’ll find justification where ever they can, so-called “tradition”, sacred texts, brute force, preferably a combination of all three.

So, I guess the GOP isn’t a big supporter of Law’n’order after all.
