The other panel members were Republicans. For most of the show, Alan just sat quietly, which really surprised and disappointed me. Then suddenly, he let them have it. It was great. I just wish that the camera had shown the standing ovation.

Alan Grayson can fuck himself with an oversized beer bottle. He tried to win reelection in 2010 with a Beck/Brietbart grade dishonest edit (the fraud was exposed and the voters bounced him out on his ass). Liars like that should not be taken seriously.

So you are saying his comments in the video are lies?
I'm saying that given that he has been shown to have committed the same sort of slanderous video editing as Andrew Breitbart, Alan Grayson cannot be taken seriously. He has shown he will dishonestly represent those with whom he disagrees in order to smear them, so how can we be sure he will not do the same with those with whom he agrees in order to promote them?

Yes, but the speech he was giving that Grayson edited was not a out-there point. He was saying that instead of focusing on the idea of a wife being obedient to her husband, Christian men should focus on being good and dutiful husbands to their wives. He was (correctly, in my eyes) trying to explain where the focus of Christian duty ought to be, and Grayson edited the video to make it look like he was supporting Dominionism with those words. That was a dishonest hack-job and its revelation cost Grayson the election, which it should have.

You explained it well and I agree, which is why I condemned Grayson above. I know the speech wasn't about abortion. Grayson also seems to have lied about the divorce thing.
Webster's abortion fundamentalism tho means that yeah, he's a Neanderthal.
